Batten Down the Hatches!

With the humidex being over 30’C when we arrived yesterday, thunderstorms were certainly a possibility. Just doesn’t seem like the Newfoundland we have been spending recent summers in.

By 4:00pm Wednesday, just as we returned from a walk, we got the wind, the lightening and very heavy rain.

We had planned to leave this morning but not with fog like that. We’ll stay another day and enjoy the marvelous hospitality of Glovertown Yacht Club.
